Over the past few years were a whirlwind for Cookie monster. To dispel the tabloid rumors of his name is changed to "Monster" to its recent launch in the spotlight, which centered on an aggressive campaign to host Saturday Night Live.

Although the cookie monster does not change the name on his birth certificate, Sesame Street managers are trying to do everything when it comes to promoting a healthy diet, with the specific aim to nourish those who fail to meet their basic nutritional needs.

Jeanette Betancourt, Vice President content design for education, research and advocacy Department of Sesame Workshop, says:

we found were really very few resources, the involvement of young children and helping them to deal not only with healthy habits, but also know as a family, they are not alone in this.

The program provides families with a selection of educational materials, including;

Video featuring four new Muppets, "Super food"-banana, cheese, whole grain roll and broccoli. Elmo and friends, including real families as they try new foods, learn about healthy snacks and discover the importance of sharing a meal together.

Superfoods (although not official Sesame Street cast members) sing and dance, encouraging children to try new foods for healthy eating. 400 000 Kits will be available to lower income families and segments will air on the show this month (December 2010). You can watch video segments here.

While this latest campaign is more focus and extensive, streets and specifically oft criticism actually contribute to healthier cookies obzoru power for awhile. Specifically, in 1987, Cookie Monster rapped about healthy eating.

Most recently, "abuzz" OWL waxed poetic for Cookie Monster cookies, sometimes food ".

Remains a pressing issue, however, will campaign like this have a noticeable impact on the food children are eating?
